Programs

JRD ’ssole aim is to contribute actively in rehabilitation, and reconstruction process of war-ravaged Somalia. We work towards assisting Somalis to help themselves in education and rural development in close cooperation with the local population in order to enable them to meet basic needs and secure improved livelihoods.

JRD rural development projects are concentrated in selected project areas in Gedo(Somalia), and the level of community participation will greatly increase in due time. In order to ensure high levels of participation and transparency, projects are identified and managed at the village level. Here are few of the community-based development programs underway.
