Water and Sanitation Program

The provision of improved potable water to rural population is done through the improvement of dug wells, drilling of new tube wells, deepening of dried out dug wells, and construction of rural gravity flow pipe schemes. These services are provided by specialized field teams, consisting of engineers, skilled laborers and hygiene educators (male and female). The children are also taught about the importance of hygiene.
